Bethel, Maine, Home of World’s Tallest Snow Man and Snow Woman, Hosts 2010 Winter Fest

Bethel, Maine, famed for building the World's Tallest Snow Man in 1999 (113' 7") and the World's Tallest Snow Woman in 2008 (122' 1") is hosting WinterFest 2010 from January 23-31. WinterFest celebrates the many snow and ice activities and recreation found in the western Maine community. Bethel area inns, B&B's, motels and vacation rental properties are offering special packages for WinterFest. A schedule of WinterFest 2010 events is available on line at www.bethelmaine.com.
