Can anyone suggest some influential films that have dogs in them?

I am writing my dissertation based on the question “How are Dogs represented in Media and Film. Does this influence the Perception of certain Breeds in Society?”
I need some influential films that i could use as examples and arguments.
Note: I have put this question in more then one category to obtain more views and opinions and hopefully get different perspectives (non dog owners vs owners etc) . I am not a troll
Also if anyone has views on my actually question i would love to hear them!

For my breed then The Omen most definitely influenced the public perception.
Other dogs in films where the dog has been prominant are
Turner & Hooch and The Incredible Journey, both of which had large breed dogs that could of influenced society.
There is obviously 101 Dalmations, Digby and Beethoven.
Must be loads more and I expect you will get more answers.

Homeward bound! they escape and have to find their way home, such a good film and it shows how loyal the dogs are and as well as that there are some dogs that aren’t loyal which may answer part of your question about the breed perhaps the film is portraying the idea that some dog breeds are not trustworthy and loyal, good luck!!
