Greece just a new place for an old-school Financial Warfare and Occupation?

CapitalAccount asked:

Greek negotiations do not look like business as usual anymore. Greek police unions have called for the arrest of IMF and EU officials. One of the Greek coalition leaders said on television he was given an incomplete translation of the Troika agreement to look over before signing away his country. He has refused to sign onto it. Are we seeing in real time what happens under a modern financial occupation? And what lessons should the US and every indebted nation be learning? We speak to Lew Rockwell, chairman of the Ludwig von Mises Institute. Capital Account’s producer Demetri Kofinas also gives us his insight into what’s behind the headlines, as he watches this unfold in the Greek press and with contacts in Greece. Meanwhile, In the US we examine the deficit of trust. The House passes legislation to ban insider trading by Congress – it’s called the STOCK Act. This just as the Spencer Bachus, chairman of the House financial services committee, whose worked on efforts to tighten these rules on Capitol Hill in the past, is under investigation for…insider trading. Bloomberg reports the Federal Reserve secretly selected a handful of banks to bid for debt securities bought by taxpayers in the AIG bailout. And federal regulators approved the first new nuclear plants in the US in 30 years, since the partial meltdown at Three Mile Island. This is also of course less than a year after the meltdowns at Tokyo Electric’s Fukushima plant. Is nuclear energy a solution for US energy

@boohoo746 1.Our Constitution is now toilet paper.
2.Who gives a shit if its symmetric or assymetric, he’s saying there is no such thing as a free market. when you privatize everything you’re gonna fucked with high prices on everything you buy. 3.Moral hazard..I know its hard for you to understand. In REALITY deregulation leads to free market madness in which the most wealthy can turn everything into a commodity–ANYTHING. hence its not moral to turn your kids into products. Get it?

@heckler73 You rock. Could it be that Russia TV and the Americans are working together? They have very similar governments. The rich dont get taxed. Wealth is consolidated. Shows like this lure people deceptively into a counter culture feeling..they have dig up these Von Misses libertarians to do so, but of course, you are right. They end up cheerleading the private sector in the end. We need to monitor shows like this.

@rogeriods3 My point exactly. Free market capitalists will sell their children if it made em a profit. Now we have to buy bottled water because private water cartels are lobbying our local and state governments and ruining our water supply. Yeah, now we got pay for that “spring water” now too! This country sucks, they are going to far.

@4thstuning Yeah its fascist. it’s just Milton Friedman with a new twist. ALLL American TV programs are shit and they promote free market capitalism in different guises. While Max Keiser is a foolish pundit of Adam Smith, at least he speaks freely outside of the gulag. Just watch American payday hacks on any busines program in America..it’s all free market crap. The LVM is more tyrannical crap from fascist WWII ideologues being posed as a trendy new “solution” to monopolies.
