How do I delete my Yahoo Personals account?

I decided not to participate in this anymore because I don’t want to spent money to email people. I can’t respond to anyone who wants to talk to me without paying for the service! How do I delete the account?

1. Go to and sign in with your Yahoo! ID and password
2. Click on the “Edit” link next to “My Profile” located at the upper right-hand corner.
3. Click the “Delete your profile” link at the upper right-hand corner.
4. Click on “Yes, delete my profile” to confirm. This will immediately delete your ad.
